Registration and Invitations
This section covers user registration scenarios—from self-registration to joining via invitation.
Registration Scenarios
Self-Registration (New User)
To register on your own:
- Go to the YuChat registration page
- Enter your email address
- Enter the confirmation code sent to your email
- Create a password
- Enter your first and last name
- Create a new workspace by providing a name and optional description
- Invite colleagues by email, or skip this step
- After registration, a Contacts section is automatically created
Joining via Email Invitation
If you receive an email invitation to an organization:
- Click Join in the invitation email
- Enter your email address
- Enter the confirmation code sent to your email
- Create a password
- Enter your first and last name
- Click Join

After joining, you're added to the organization's Contacts.
Joining via Workspace Invitation Link
If you receive an invitation link to a specific workspace:
- Open the invitation link
- Enter your email address
- Enter the confirmation code sent to your email
- Create a password
- Enter your first and last name
- Click Join next to the workspace you want to join

After joining, you become a workspace member and are automatically added to the organization's Contacts.
Self-Registration with Pending Invitation
If you start self-registration and there's already a pending invitation for your email:
- Enter your email address
- Enter the confirmation code sent to your email
- Create a password
- Enter your first and last name
- You'll be prompted to confirm joining the Organization/Workspace
- If your permissions and subscription plan allow it, you can also create a new workspace
