Audio-Video Configuration

If you experience difficulties connecting various types of devices during the installation of the YuChat Corporate Communications Platform, please follow the recommendations described below.

Go to YuChat settings by clicking on the avatar in the lower left corner of the application, then Settings -> Calls

Select the active microphone and make sure the microphone bar is moving.

Antivirus Settings

When using Antivirus programs, it is necessary to allow the use of camera and microphone for the YuChat application.   1. Open the Protection tab in the Kaspersky application
  2. Click Application Control
  3. In the Application Rules section -> Personal Data Protection, click Manage Applications
  4. Right-click YuChat, select Restrictions and click Trusted.

Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Microphone "Allow apps to access the microphone" should be enabled "Allow desktop apps to access the microphone" should be enabled The YuChat application should appear in the list of applications with microphone access

MacOS

To add applications for access to camera, microphone and screen recording (screen sharing during calls), you need to:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Open "Privacy & Security"

  3. Open "Microphone"

  4. Enable access for YuChat by moving the slider to the right

  5. Access to camera and screen recording must be enabled similarly in the "Camera" and "Screen Recording" sections
